Description
The rat monoclonal antibody clone MWReg30 binds to the mouse CD41 antigen (also known as the mouse integrin α2b and GPIIb). CD41 is a 125 kDa single-pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed by platelets, megakaryocytes, mast cells, and hematopoietic progenitors. It forms a heterodimer with CD61 (integrin β3), which interacts with several ligands including, fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, and thrombin. CD41 is involved in the processes of coagulation and aggregation, and defects in CD41 can lead to coagulation disorders.

RECOMMENDED USAGE
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested using flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 μL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 μL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 μL per 100 μL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application.
Please briefly centrifuge the reagent vial before use.
