cFluor™ V420 Anti-Human CD52 (HI186)
The HI186 monoclonal antibody binds to human CD52, a 25-29-kDa glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein. CD52, also known as Cambridge pathology 1 antigen (CAMPATH-1), is expressed in high levels on mature lymphocytes and surface of thymocytes. It is also present on NK cells, macrophages/monocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils and dendritic cells and absent from plasma cells, platelets and erythrocytes1. CD52 is known to be efficient in complement-mediated lysis and antibody-mediated cellular toxicity and are clinically used as a drug target for various diseases, including lymphoma, transplant rejection and autoimmune diseases2. The antibody was conjugated to a fluorophore and puriﬁed by afﬁnity chromatography.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested using flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 µL per 100 µL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application.
