Description
The WM59 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD31, also known as platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1 (PECAM-1) and glycoprotein IIa (gpIIa). This 130-140-kDa surface protein is expressed by endothelial cells and on leukocytes and platelets at low levels. It has been reported that CD38 binds to CD31. Homotypic interaction of CD31 is important in cellular adhesion, cell-cell and cell-matrix interaction, and signal transduction.
The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated to the fluorophore.

RECOMMENDED USAGE
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested using flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application.
Please briefly centrifuge the reagent vial before use.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment per the product safety data sheet when using this product.
