The 34-1-2S antibody reacts with the H-2K^d/H-2D^d MHC class I alloantigens expressed on nucleated cells from mice of the H-2K^d/H-2D^d haplotype. H-2K^d/H-2D^d is involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD8 proteins. The 34-1-2S antibody cross-reacts with H-2K MHC class I alloantigens of the b, s, r, q, or p haplotypes.
