The antibody C-46 reacts with cytokeratin peptides 7 and 17 (54 and 46 kDa). Cytokeratins are members of intermediate filaments subfamily of intracellular proteins represented in epithelial tissues.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections): Recommended dilution: 10 μg/ml, pretreatment: 0,1% pepsin, 30 min, 37°C, incubation 4°C overnight, chromogen DAB; positive tissue: pancreas.
Western blotting: Recommended dilution: 1-2 μg/ml; positive control: HeLa cells.
