The antibody MEM-111 reacts with an extracellular epitope of CD54 (ICAM-1), a 85-110 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein (receptor for rhinovirus). The expression of CD54 is upregulated by activation; it is expressed on activated endothelial cells, T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes and dendritic cells.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Flow cytometry: The suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 µL per 100 µL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application. The content of a vial (0.5 mL) is sufficient for 100 tests.
