説明
The mouse monoclonal antibody clone HI186 binds to human CD52, a 25-29 kDa glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein. CD52, also known as Cambridge pathology 1 antigen (CAMPATH-1), is expressed in high levels on mature lymphocytes and the surface of thymocytes. It is also present in NK cells, macrophages/monocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils, and dendritic cells. It is absent from plasma cells, platelets, and erythrocytes. CD52 is known to be efficient in complement-mediated lysis and antibody-mediated cellular toxicity. It is clinically used as a drug target for various diseases, including lymphoma, transplant rejection, and autoimmune disease.
