The mouse monoclonal antibody clone dG9 binds to human perforin, a 70 kDa pore-forming cytolytic protein found in the granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and natural killer (NK) cells. Perforin plays a key role in targeted cell lysis by polymerizing to form a channel in the target cell membrane, which allows cytotoxic proteases like granzyme B to enter the cell.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Flow cytometry: The suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 µL per 100 µL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application. The content of a vial (0.5 mL) is sufficient for 100 tests.
