説明

The mouse monoclonal antibody clone 11F2 binds to the human γδ T cell receptor (TCR γδ). γδ TCR is a T cell receptor consisting of two glycoprotein chains, a 45-60 kDa gamma chain and a 40-60 kDa delta chain. Unlike conventional αβ T cell receptor, which recognizes peptides bound to MHC, γδ TCR recognizes antigens in a non-MHC restricted way. TCR γδ associates with CD3 to play a role in signal transduction and is found on thymocytes and a subset of T cells. γδ T-expressing T cells are often among the first immune cells to respond to infections and can rapidly produce cytokines to initiate an immune response. Studies also suggest its role in antigen presentation and autoimmune disease.
