cFluor® BYG667 Anti-Human IgD (IA6-2)

説明
The IA6-2 monoclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of human Immunoglobulin D (IgD), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. IgD is co-expressed with membrane IgM on the surface of mature naïve B cells, where both isotypes associate with the Igα/Igβ (CD79a/CD79b) signaling heterodimer to form the B cell antigen receptor (BCR) complex. Engagement of the IgD-BCR by antigen mediates signal transduction that fine-tunes B cell activation, selection, and tolerance, complementing rather than duplicating IgM-BCR signaling. IgD expression is lost following isotype class switching, and a soluble form of IgD circulates at low levels in serum, where it has also been implicated in mucosal innate immune defense through interactions with basophils and mast cells.
