説明
The BC96 monoclonal antibody binds to the 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD25 is known as the low-affinity interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2Rα). CD25 is expressed on progenitor lymphocytes, activated T & B cells, and monocytes, as well as on regulatory T cells1-4. When CD25 is in association with CD122, IL-2 receptor beta chain and with CD132, the common gamma chain, the resulting complex is the high-affinity IL-2 receptor. IL-2 receptor signaling is key in lymphocyte proliferation and survival5. The antibody was conjugated to a fluorophore and purified by affinity chromatography.
