The OX-104 monoclonal antibody binds to human CD200, a 40-45kD transmembrane glycoprotein that is also known as OX2. CD200 is a member of the Ig superfamily and is expressed by various cell types, including subsets of B- and T-cells, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, neurons, and a subset of CD34 positive progenitor cells. The interaction between CD200 and its receptor, CD200R, is of importance in the control of macrophage activation and may contribute to pathways that suppress and limit their activity in a variety of tissues, suggesting a regulatory function for CD200.

The antibody was conjugated to a fluorophore and purified by affinity chromatography.

RECOMMENDED USAGE
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested using flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 µL per 100 µL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application.

Please briefly centrifuge the reagent vial before use.
