説明
The Armenian hamster monoclonal antibody clone eBio GL3 binds to mouse T cell receptor (TCR) γδ. The TCR is a heterodimer consisting either of an α and a β chain (TCR α/β) or of a γ and a δ chain (TCR γ/δ). TCR δ belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, which recognizes certain bacterial and tumor antigens bound to MHC class I. TCR γδ associates with CD3 and is expressed on a T cell subset found in the thymus, the intestinal epithelium, the peripheral lymphoid tissues, and the peritoneum. Most γδ T cells are CD4- /CD8- although some can be CD8+. T cells expressing the TCR γδ have been shown to play a role in oral tolerance, tumor-associated tolerance, and autoimmune disease. It has been reported that T γδ+ cells also play a principal role in antigen presentation. The clone eBio GL3 reacts with the gamma delta T-cell Receptor complex (TCR) on all gamma delta TCR-bearing T cells, but it does not react with alpha beta TCR. The gamma delta TCR is present on cells in the thymus, epidermis, epithelial lining of the intestine, peritoneal cavity, and lymphoid tissues.
