The mouse monoclonal antibody clone HI9a binds to human CD9, a 24 kDa type III transmembrane glycoprotein. CD9, also known as tetraspanin, MRP-1, and DRAP-24, is a member of the tetraspanin family that is expressed on platelets, endothelial and epithelial cells, and all major subsets of leukocytes, including B cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, NK cells, granulocytes, monocytes, macrophage. CD9 plays a role in diverse cellular processes including, cellular adhesion, migration, platelet aggregation, and B cell development.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested using flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 μL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 μL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 μL per 100 μL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application.

Please briefly centrifuge the reagent vial before use.
