No immunoreactivity is evident with undifferentiated human EC and ES cells. Differentiation of human EC results in an increase in SSEA-1 expression, while in the mouse expression is diminished. Expression of the carbohydrate moiety is also found on mature human granulocytes (on CD15) and some monocytes. This can be used at 5 µL (0.06 µg µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
