In the mouse, Th2 cells, B1 cells, macrophages, and keratinocytes are the major cell subsets that produce IL-10. IL-10 inhibits synthesis of Th1 cytokines and proliferation of T cells, and acts as a costimulatory signal for mast cells, developing thymocytes and the Th2 response.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This JES5-16E3 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This JES5-16E3 antibody has been tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
