The antigen recognized by HIS24 is found on B cells from the early stage of B cell development in the bone marrow to mature peripheral B cells, but not on plasma cells. HIS24 recognizes a 205 kDa protein by immunoblotting. CD45, also known as Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA), has tyrosine phosphatase enzymatic activity in its cytoplasmic portion and plays an important role in activation of lymphocytes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported: This HIS24 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This HIS24 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocytes. This may be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
