CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells excluding circulating erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 has tyrosine phosphatase enzymatic activity and plays an important role in activation of lymphocytes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  The HI30 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: The HI30 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
