In peripheral blood, this C-type lectin is expressed highly on granulocytes and CD14+CD16- monocytes. Some dendritic cell populations also exhibit low levels of CD368 expression. Studies have demonstrated that this receptor undergoes endocytosis due to its C-type lectin-like domain. CD368 functions as a phagocytic receptor and is involved in proinflammatory cytokine production in cooperation with Toll-like receptors. Finally, CD368 also participates in cellular activation via signaling through Syk kinase.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This 9B9 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Due to the endocytic nature of Clec6, we recommend fixing your cells prior staining to ensure the maximum possible signal.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This 9B9 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
