CD32b is the only inhibitory member of the Fc-gamma receptor family. Immune complex engagement of CD32b results in the phosphorylation of its intracellular ITIM motif. This engagement serves to attenuate B cell receptor (BCR) signaling and other activating signals, reduces proliferation, reduces antibody production, and may also deliver apoptotic signals. CD32b is the only Fc-gamma receptor expressed by B cells. CD32b is also expressed on monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils, as well as B cell progenitors and plasma cells.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAT130-2 has been reported to have agonist activity.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This AT130-2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This AT130-2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
