SIRP family members are transmembrane glycoproteins with 3 Ig-like extracellular domains and a cytoplasmic tail containing 2 immunocreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motifs. CD172a is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, dendritic cells, and neurons. SIRPa association with CD47 inhibits phagocytosis of CD47 presenting cells. Studies suggest that SIRPa ligation prevents phagocytosis by inactivating paxillin and cofilin, proteins involved in cytoskeleton remodeling.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This OX41 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This OX41 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat lysed whole blood. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
