IL-4 receptor alpha chain (CD124) is crucial for the binding and signal transduction of IL-4. Both IL-4 and IL-13 use the IL-4 receptor alpha chain as their receptor component and activate many common signal pathways.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  X2\/45-12 has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. X2\/45-12 has also been reported in neutralization of human IL-4 function.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: The X2\/45-12 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
