The exact nature of HIS52 antigen is, however, not known. HIS52 does not cross react with various species tested other than rat. This antibody is a very useful tool as a specific phenotypic marker for rat endothelium.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  The HIS52 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections. No reactivity of the antibody was seen when applied in immunoblotting of PAGE-run lysates from endothelial cell cultures and stromal cell preparations.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: The HIS52 antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry of rat frozen sections and can be used at 1-10 µg\/mL.
