pe-cyanine7-anti-human-cd38-hit2
PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD38 (HIT2)

The mouse monoclonal antibody clone HIT2 binds to human CD38, a 45 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD38, also known as T10, is expressed in thymocytes, plasma cells, monocytes, and other non-hematopoietic cells. T and B lymphocyte expression is discontinuous and varies based on differentiation state; it is present on immature cells, low on intermediate stages, and high on activated mature cells. It is found on most CD34+ cells but not on pluripotent stem cells. CD38 has two functions: a receptor or an ectoenzyme. As a receptor, CD38 binds to CD31. As an ectoenzyme, CD38 functions both as ADP-ribosyl cyclase and cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase to catalyze the synthesis of cyclic ADP-ribose to regulate intracellular calcium level, thus playing an essential role in cell signaling and growth. CD38 is an ectoenzyme that catalyzes the synthesis and hydrolysis of cyclic ADP-ribose and is involved in cell signaling, regulating cell adhesion, and activation. CD38 is a prognostic marker for some leukemias and other diseases. Additionally, it serves as a marker for activated B and T cells in research applications.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Clone: HIT2

Specificity: CD38

Reactivity: Human, Chimpanzee

Format: PE-Cyanine7

Isotype: Mouse IgG1, k

Tested Dilution: 5 µL/Test

Application: FC

Storage: 2-8°C protected from light.Do not freeze

Formulation: Stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.4, 15 mM sodium azide

Data Sheets: TDS | SDS

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Flow cytometry: The suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 µL.
