Among the Ikaros family of proteins, Eos has the highest homology with Helios. Eos can homodimerize with itself and form heterodimers with Ikaros. Eos was first identified in the nervous system and was cloned from astrocytes. Later, Eos was found to be involved in the regulation of osteoclast differentiation. Eos has also been reported to be involved in negatively regulating gene expression in Foxp3-expressing regulatory T cells in mice.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported: This ESB7C2 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This ESB7C2 antibody has been tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes using the using the Foxp3\/Transcription Factor Buffer Set (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/order\/catalog\/product\/00-5523-00\"\u003eProduct # 00-5523-00\u003c\/a\u003e) and protocol. Slight modifications in the protocol using this antibody have been demonstrated to improve the staining resolution. We recommend the staining time of minimum 60 minutes and additional washes after the fixation (3 times) and staining steps (twice). This antibody can be used at less than or equal to 1 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
