CD95 is expressed by a broad range of hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells including monocytes, neutrophils, activated lymphocytes and fibroblasts. Interaction of CD95 on mature lymphocytes with its ligand (FasL) induces apoptosis and is thought to be important in peripheral tolerance. EOS9.1 does not block binding of DX2, another antibody specific for human CD95.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  The EOS9.1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. EOS9.1 is also effective in inducing apoptosis in in vitro functional studies.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: The EOS9.1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test.
