ENPP family members catalyze the hydrolysis of pyrophosphate and phosphodiester bonds to nucleoside 5-monophosphates. A type II transmembrane protein, CD203c is expressed on basophils and mast cells. CD203c expression is upregulated on basophils activated by allergen or IgE crosslinking. Therefore, CD203c is used as an indicator of basophil activation in various IgE-mediated allergic responses.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This NP4D6 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This NP4D6 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
