CD119 heterodimerizes with IFN gamma receptor 2 (AF-1) forming the Class II cytokine receptor. The ligand IFN gamma binds IFN gamma receptor 1 subunit but signal transduction transpires via the IFN gamma receptor 2 subunit. The receptor is involved in host defense and expression is broad including B cells, NK cells, macrophages and dendritic cells as well as other non-hematopoietic cell types.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Reported:  This 2E2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eApplications Tested: This 2E2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells\/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
